    1. I’m dreading the thought of trying to slice it into two. Only got one cake tin. On the table I have the gluten free Spongecake ingredients, honey, soya milk, soya chocolate, marshmallows, pesto, jam, icing sugar. Still can’t decide…. Are you going to have a go.

      1. I’m not much of a baker – I have always tried without success. My grandmother was the sweetest – she used to eat everything I concocted even if it was supposed to be in sponge form and came out liquid(y). “Still tastes good to me!” is what she would exclaim. Everyone else just laughed so I quit. All boxed stuff for me now with the “just add eggs.” I can do that. But best of luck to you! I bet it will be great πŸ™‚

        It’s a Mandarin (the mango idea wouldn’t have looked as good) Mocha Chocolate Victoria Sponge!! πŸ™‚
