Sad as it is – this event went totally unnoticed by me, primarily because all our news and media could do was to discuss our Super-early Federal Budget details which was brought forward a month so as to not cause so much disruption to our May Federal elections where we get to replace our Loser Government with an equally big Loser Opposition for the next 3 years (maybe?)
Seems like there is quite a long hill to climb getting more people’s attention and action on ASD? 😦
Hi, please can you tell me the title/send me the link to the blog post you wrote about things that help your son, the M&Ms in a jar, etc. I want to send a link to it to a friend of a friend who has a son the same age as your son who also has autism. All the best.
That really does say it very well, you’re right. Accept and embrace differences, treat each other with more compassion. The world really could be a brighter, kinder place… x
Awesome! I love it! ❤

Hah! I doubt he’s ever won one! I’ve read that he isn’t very good at it, and also that he cheats. Surprising, huh?

I saw this in the library getting a book on sensory issues: “Isaac and his Amazing Asperger Superpowers” by Melanie Walsh. Some of the illustrations, especially the boy with his animals–made me think of your son. 🙂 https://www.amazon.com/Isaac-His-Amazing-Asperger-Superpowers/dp/0763681210
