It’s Sunday and it’s time for a bit of Switzerland.
Just something about this wonderful place that is so uplifting for the soul.
Looking at the photos something occurred to me. How the varied architecture and buildings blends in perfectly with the stunning landscape. How many times these days do you see a potentially wonderful view ruined by an ugly inappropriate building. Not here in Switzerland.
We have a friend who lives in Basel, and because of her pictures, we’re sure it has to be a fake place because it’s so nice. These pictures aren’t doing anything to change our mind! 🙂

Sometimes it does seem to perfect to be true.

That is a very good point. Often you do see some monstrosity in the midst of something beautiful. Definitely not here in the photos.

We get that in the UK far too often.

Gorgeous photos! I believe Switzerland has pretty tough planning laws when it comes to buildings.

It does but not on flying health and safety. Love how often you see a helicopter just drop building materials off in some quite scary locations.

Will you just move there already? And let me visit you??

I have only ever driven through the alps on the way to Italy but your post really make me want to explore it a little more. Maybe an OAP gap year visit when my son’s grown up…

It works and most of the peaks have some form of transportation to the top with a restaurant.

Wow, have never been. I live in Colorado which is famous for good views. But it doesn’t hold a candle to your Switzerland!! Your photos fill the heart. Thanks 🙂

After a tough week, it’s beautiful to come to Switzerland here. No matter how bad the week has been, everything slows and sinks away at the sight your Switzerland.
May you always be blessed for this peace you bring me.

There does seem to be a natural flow to the manmade structures–like they of all people have found their balance with nature. 🙂

They have found a way of balance which my country hasn’t got the first idea.
