Meat loaf is greatly overrated… Things looking right is greatly overrated. it is the taste that counts and this looks tasty.

I’m sure they’re fine. You just needed to better secure the pastry. What did you use?

A little dairy free butter pressed down with a fork. Probably just overfilled them.

You needed to use an egg wash. The butter would’ve just melted into the pastry. Nothing wrong with well-filled pies and pastries!

When my mother was away once, I wanted to please my dad, so I made him a toad in the hold. We had to dig the sausages out with a chisel but dad was quite polite about it. I was 10.

Gary, I am not kidding, they look great! They have the perfect shape to put ketchup, mustard, or any other sauce on it. And I am sure they taste very well!

I’m lazy with sausage rolls. I buy a can of “crescent rolls” and the precooked sausages. Pop a sausage in the crescent roll triangle, roll it up and bake them.
Yours look much better than mine ever do. Probably taste better too!

Cat Daddy once entered a sausage roll competition at work and he came last because his sausage roll was “too meaty”. I’m not joking.
And the winning one was vegan, obviously due to the considerable vegan population of the workplace not sampling any of the meat entries, and therefore the vegan entries received more votes overall. A total set-up.

I KNOW. You’d at least think the same number of people would sample each one. Obviously if 5 people sample one sausage roll and 20 people sample another, and everyone votes, the second one is more likely to win!

I am an odd one… I am not a huge fan of sausage 😝 bleh
I do like Kielbasa. Cause I can make that several different ways. And I do like Italian sausage in my meatballs
But typically I do not like sausage lol
