It’s definitely a weather day. Lots of it. Just had to retrieve our bin from the neighbours garden. Very clever really as the bin had navigated two gates and had happily settled in the wrong back garden. Definitely weather but it will change again.
It’s very like grief.
Sometimes the storms are damaging. They cause disruption and seem to go on for ever. Wave after wave crashing down, adding yet more pressure, that awful feeling of sinking further and further down. But eventually the storm will subside. The weather will change.
That’s what needs to be held on to. The weather will inevitably change, even in Yorkshire.
Iโm the first to leave a comment today ๐
Sunny and cold here. Had a brisk walk. Hope you are smiling today lovely friend x

So true. As I wrote at the end of my post today, even after the darkest night, the sun will always rise.

I like to use that same message in general. I may be having a rough time of things, but things change and I just need to hang on. Good message.

Have the same problem here with an unsecured water butt, considering l have a walled in garden, l have never seen a water butt do the things this one is able to do before – very entertaining ๐

You get some mighty winds… are the Nannys flying yet?๐๐
It’s odd how the good times seem so fleeting and the rough times drag on. I wonder if we hold tighter to good memories and be as present as possible in the good times if we can make them seem longer?? I’m going to try it!
I’m getting photo envy! Gorgeous picture!๐๐

The weather aye changes. laughing at your bins. Where we used to live, our patio chairs used to end up in other gardens when it was stormy.

Did you get them back. In some places Iโve lived before, that would have been finders keepers.

Oh aye, it was a big old terrace, the highest up you could get above the river with countryside at the back and nothing either side, so yeah. But I used to imagine Mary Poppins sitting in them as they flew up into the air in the howling gale. And we did take a hammering there that way actually. One night all the flashings were ripped right off the roof.

I remember camping in Torridon and our tent ended up heading towards the loch at a high rate of knots.

Yes all storms come to an end, eventually – after it batters and throws you around a little bit
Hopefully you get a rainbow ๐
Always remember – just a moment in time and never alone. โ๏ธ

Wise words. We gained a bin lid a while back. It’s not yours, is it?

….when you write a comment and you get the message that you can’t post that comment. Hmmm… never had that message before. I guess my comment wasn’t good, but you’re right… the weather does change.
