Definitely misty. That misty it’s got to my mind.

I decided to start on wrapping up Hawklads presents. Yes for once I was going to be ahead of the game. All was going well. Three presents beautifully gift wrapped. I was a finely tuned wrapping machine. Time to move onto the next one.

But where did I put the roll of cellotape. Absolutely no sign of it. How can it go missing. I haven’t moved. I’m sat on the floor. The pets are asleep so I can’t blame them. Where has it gone…

Then a sinking feeling. Let’s feel the wrapped presents. Yep that football shirt seems to have something else in there with it. Pants. Someone had gift wrapped the cellotape. What a muppet.

And guess what…. when I came to the last present I ran out of paper. Out by just 3 inches. That cellotape cost me…

It’s Christmas alright.

      1. It can be arranged if you like but would probably take you years to get into ๐Ÿ˜€

Last year I wrapped a friend’s present using gaffer tape cos I got sick of trying to find the tape and little crappy dispenser every two mins.

Nice pretty paper but you couldn’t see it for thick black tape wound around it all and my friend said to Hannah “Your Mum lovingly wrapped my present didn’t she? I had to use a Stanley knife to get in it”

  1. I feel your pain. Whenever my two younger kids see tape here they see gold and start taping everything. It doesn’t matter the project, the project now requires tape. So we are constantly out. When I was ordering Christmas presents on Amazon, I also ordered tape – and then hid it.

  2. Duct tape! And bonus if you have the fancy colored or patterned duct tape. Stick a strip of that over the gap and write the “to” and “from” on the tape. See..? Problem solved๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Duct tape solves a LOT of problems๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ’Œ๐Ÿ’Œ๐Ÿ’Œ
