Oh nature why hast thou awoken me at this early hour? There is no snow outside and I have work early in the morning! Yet I did hear a noise and if I didn’t know better I’d wonder if it could it be reindeer? Only senses are now on full alert looking out into the dark, for I can smell a rat 🐀 perhaps also a fox or both. Perhaps nature has decided to spread the contents of the bins out there, just like the kids did wrapping paper back-in-the-day. 😃 I’m not going closer now and thus giving myself the ebbegeebeez! 😬

We’ve had 0.07 inches (0.178cm) of rain since July. As far as I’m concerned, that’s 2M of snow!!

Way back in the 1970s we had one Christmas where a similar amount of snow fell overnight. Of course, being summer, it was all gone by sunrise.

After 31 inches of snow 10 days ago, we thought white Christmas was guaranteed but awoke to green/orange and a few left over white patches due to torrential rain and tropical temps! Happy Christmas!!
