It’s almost goodbye to 2020. Well that was a year. I blame one person for everything…

Boris Johnson on the 31st December 2019 “This is going to be a fantastic year……”

What an absolute Numpty. I guess it was for him and his cohorts in terms of corruption and feathering ones own nest.

But for the rest of us it was a challenge. I could have used so many other words here but let’s go for the one I can spell. I’m not going to go on about the obvious things this time. Let’s just hope that 2021 is better. This year has not exactly set the bar that high but let’s not tempt fate. I will leave that up to our so called leader.

But here’s the thing about 2020. It’s been truly horrid and tragic for so many. It’s been tough for our little family but let’s also remember the positive stuff as well. So many people have demonstrated what a wonderful, caring and beautiful world it can still be. Old friendships have strengthened. It’s also brought truly wonderful new friendships which have enriched my life.

We can do this.

  19. Absolutely, Gary! Every year has its challenges. 2020 did definitely have a lot of tough challenges for the individual but also for all of us. Still, right because of that we discovered and recognized so much beneath it we would not have without. May 2021 bring all the beautiful fruits now from those new discoveries. Happy New Year, Gary!!

  27. First, I always love the pictures. I’m assuming they are around your home…or in the vicinity of your home. Beautiful.

    Second, it gives me such life to see the words of someone from another country experiencing something similar to Trump…though you all have yet to have a bunch of rabid followers commit a terrorist act at the nation’s Capitol building (with the added bonus of some state officials, military, and police joining the terrorist fray). Apparently it was an inside job too that increased the chances that our shitstain VP and one of the greatest Speakers in our country’s history could be kidnapped and murdered. On a positive note, they all have been posting their exploits online as though the entire thing isn’t a crime, so they have all been getting fired from jobs and rounded up by the FBI. The realization they are on a no-fly list is also something that sends a warm tingle through me. It’s what happens when one consumes propoganda…at some point reality can’t be avoided.
