A new day. New hope.

I should pen the next Star Wars movie.

Dad what are you looking at Amazon for?”

I was kind of toying with the idea of getting ME a Lego set.

Which one Dad?”

I’ve always wanted the Star Wars Death Star. Wanted that for years. Maybe even the Millennium Falcon.

Are you going to buy one then?”

No. Definitely No. have you seen the prices. Death Star is Β£600 and the Falcon is Β£250.

Wow. Think of the milkshakes you could buy me with that money…”

Stop sniggering, I might just get that big box of loose lego out and make my own creation. Much cheaper and probably more fun.

Dad you could script out a new Star Wars movie..”

That’s an idea. Could give myself a role in the movie. Maybe a heroic Jedi night. Maybe the new Hans Solo. Maybe even the dashing new evil Sith Lord….

No Dad, only one rule for you. Jabba The Hut….”

I walked right into that one πŸ˜‚

  1. Hawklad continues to crack me up πŸ™‚ I think we still have the Jabba the Hut Lego set from when Bobby was full into Legos – unfortunately, it has been broken down (by D in destruction) and the Lego pieces went into our generic Lego bin. I always think of how many different sets are in there. The possibilities are endless at this point!

  2. First… that photo… W O W !!! the light shining through the cloud… absolutely stunning!!

Second… Hawklad is entirely too cheeky! I wouldn’t think he could come up with Zingers like that for a few years yet… entirely too cheeky for his age!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  3. Have you seen the Mandalorian? My new favorite series… I’m in love with baby Yoda. And someone should come up with a generic book of models to make with all the leftover lego bits. All they do is cause pain underfoot or take up closet space. πŸ’•

  4. If you’ve got a lot of white lego you could make the ice planet Hoth. Then once your set was made you could make up your own chapter in the story using stop motion animation with lego figures. Maybe you’ll become the next George Lucas!
