It’s Sunday so it’s time for our weekly trip to beautiful Switzerland. One of most stunning countries on our planet. A place which has a close link with our family for generations. Due to life we haven’t been able to visit in person since 2015. But it’s still close to our hearts and we will return one day.
Although Switzerland is completely land locked you are never far from water. Whether it’s one of its myriad alpine rivers and streams or one of its 1500 stunning lakes. Water always seems to be in the forefront of any Swiss photo. This morning what would I give to be in this beautiful country and stood next to Swiss water.
We just love Swiss Sunday π

Thank you So So SOOOO much!! I needed Swiss Sunday On Saturday Night, especially *this* Saturday night!! All that beautiful waterπ Mountains and water are my favorite places.
The picture of the walkway by the river, the spike thingy sticking out of the cliff on the right… what is that?
I’ve decided I don’t need a turn on the horse. The grass will be just fine. Perfect actually π
I can’t wait til you have new pictures to share, new memories made.ππΌπππ

Itβs an old pulley, not sure why. You can walk all along that gorge. At its narrowest you can touch the other side just about. xxx

Might be looking at wrong photo. Yes that is a house by the lake. Quite a few of those which back on to that lake.

So much beauty there, more than enough to sweeten hearts and lift spirits. I often wonder about the Swiss people. Are they a joyful lot? It seems to me that they should be given what they have been blessed with.

They seem more relaxed than the Brits…

I’ve been once to Switzerland and it was early April. It was short visit just for one rainy day. However, I fell in love with this country. Recently I watched the video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtZZ-hxz9TI.
Unfortunately, I did not see whatever is shown in this video, but I understand why you so much in love with this awesome country.
