Millions of years of evolution. All that natural selection stuff. Leading to me. This morning it took me 2 hours to work out that I had my top on inside out. It didn’t go on right. It didn’t feel right. It didn’t look right. I was bemused at not being able to find my shirt pockets. I could have sworn this shirt had them……. It still took me two hours.

Here’s the worst thing. It then taken me another two hours to correct the mistake. In fact I’m writing this still sartorially challenged.

It’s either a sign that I’m not likely to see anyone soon or I’m single…..

I will let you make your mind up on that. But with homeschooling there is no uniform requirement. Actually I’ve dressed much worse than this over the last year. Definitely too many fashion crimes. But it really doesn’t matter in the end. Well not until someone sees me.

  1. I have walked around at work with my sweater on inside out. Until a co-worker points it out. I have also worn my pants inside out to work as well. At least I caught that one before I hit the floor. And I wear yoga pants for work. So it is not like that there is a tag that sticks out. Have a good day 🙂

  2. You aren’t alone, Gary. Feeling challenged myself currently. The person I live with, who is my helper, normally able-bodied damaged a knee again. I have serious physical limitations so looking after the 11 cats and all their messes and trying to find something the man will eat without turning up his nose…..it’s a lot of work and I am tired too. Moan. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel, right?

  3. It’s more than difficult to care what I wear when I spend so much of my time well away from the public eye. I have a closet full of clothes that rarely get worn – especially since the pandemic hit. I love your tongue-in-cheek humor. Thanks for the smiles. 🙂

  4. Over Christmas I got by with slipper socks, a tartan nightshirt and a striped dressing gown. Didn’t wear trousers, shoes or a watch for an entire week. Compared to me (the Sultan of Sloth) you are a dynamo and you wear shirts – that’s good going.

  5. Being conventionally dressed is way overrated anyway 🙂

I remember years ago putting on my boxer shorts on backwards, needing a pee and panicking thinking l was about to wet myself … so whilst some conventional things are overrated, some things are critically essential 🙂
