It’s just turned Sunday here in the UK. So much of the world is in turmoil. We need more than ever moments of peace and beauty. I think it’s time to visit one such place. Time for Switzerland.
I’ve been asked why we would always go back to the same hotel, have the same base for our trips to this wonderful country.
IT JUST FELT LIKE HOME.
It’s hard to put into words that feeling, but let’s try using photos. All these pics were taken either from the hotel balcony or within 2 minutes walk from the hotel front door.

Sunday is always a day of longing but since the horror in Ukraine, I look at these beautiful scenes and give thanks for them. For the beauty. For the peace. For the quiet. Because Ukraine has taught me that in the blink of an eye, everything can be lost.

There is something comforting about finding a home base that just works and that you can go back to like a second home. I can see why you chose this hotel from your photos. I hope you and Hawklad get to go back this Fall. 🤞🏻
