My phone camera really doesn’t like the dark…. It tries its best…..Sorry no glossy, professional photos here 😂😂😂😂 Being in focus is much overrated, that’s what I tell myself each day when I unfortunately see Shrek looking back at me in the mirror.
Unexpected bonfire night sky show, just when you think it’s been a quiet fireworks night. Especially as the public shows near us we’re cancelled due to flooding.
But if you give it a chance, if you look up ……. life, nature, all around us can be truly breathtaking.
A Dad trying to cope with the loss of his Partner and becoming a single parent. 
My night shots turn red, as well, unless I bring the viewer in a bit..But makes for some interesting effects.

There is great comfort in looking up, I find, in realising how insignificant we really are. I am a soft-focus sort of person!

It is amazing how far south the northern lights have reached lately. They were also seen in the east of Germany. What a fantastic view you had. Great!!

Wow!! How cool to see Northern Lights! Thanks for sharing your pictures even if they aren’t glossy professionals. They take me back to when I was bobbing in the North Sea off the coasts of Iceland and the UK, near the Arctic Circle and saw them for the first and only time.

Glad I don’t own a white car, unlike a neighbour who had orange dust all over the roof from firework dust the morning after. Not that keen on fireworks these days. Hate how it upsets the animals. Beautiful sky.

😏 I just looked at some cars on Google Street View and orange firework dust, would show up for sure on some cars that aren’t white, but in a different way e.g.

Great photos. I was amazed once to take a magnificent sunset photo then look at my camera to find that it had taken out most of the colour due to its automatic settings. Yours seems better than that. 🙂

A friend of mine once had a camera which got stuck in effects mode. Every photo ended up having a rainbow being added to it….

🙂 They are wonderful things, the modern camera. I keep getting moaned at that my ebay pictures come out with strange colour casts. The shop owner is completely unconvinced that the camera does things by itself. When he complains that the silver looks yellowish, I correct it manually and he then complains it looks blue. 🙂
