Back many many many years, at university, I remember a climbing buddy having an old battered poster on her kitchen wall. It was a beautiful mountain, with its reflection perfectly captured in a lake. In bold the message was something like “Keep looking, there is at least one place where you will fell truly ALIVE”.

Several decades later I was blessed to be able to stand by that very same lake and by that very same mountain. The Poster was so right….

These places DO EXIST.

  1. This one reminded me to listen to a guided meditation session again. I loved that it started out with a pull towards a fond memory, and delighted with a reoccurrence of it that you manifested. The meditation is focused on remembering the moments in one’s life that are the opposite of what injures their subconscious; and acts as training wheels to ride the blessings in our lives as a habit of developing subconscious self affirmation. Going to listen to it again now, I usually skip to minute 3:00, because the intro isn’t necessary at this point for me: https://youtu.be/vb5AaMIxiEg?si=3AFTTWX6DUrDtNXy

  2. That was a beautiful message and I can see why it still resonates with you all these years later, Gary. There is always something out there that gives us a reason to feel alive. 🙏💕
