More storms, more rain, more wind. The Farmer’s hard stacking efforts are now completely wrecked.
A cold often, grim, winter like day.
Not much fun, a day that felt like hard work.
But you never know what is round the corner. Forced ourselves and the very reluctant mad dog out for a cold, windswept, late evening walk.
The clouds cleared just enough for a few, brief light show moments. The Northern Lights never fail to be thrilling. If only my old phone could capture the beauty just a little better.
It can be such a wonderful life.
How lovely!

It choose British weather over living near the equator, where you fry in the day and freeze at night. Temperate is a gentler world me thinks.

I remember knitting little jumpers for babies in a hot country for a charity, and I learnt why that is, because before then I assumed it was hot all the time. In fact night time temperatures can plummet to freezing levels.

Beautiful. I don’t think your phone has done a bad job capturing that. I wish I could see something like this. But I will have to settle with looking at photos.

It’s odd but for years here, the few times we got them it was bad weather. But last year or so, we’ve seen them about 5 times.

Never seen them in real life, and we are planning to go somewhere halfway across the world this year to take a look. It must be wonderful to have them outside your door.

Great capture, even on an old phone. Not something we are likely ever to see in Bristol.

I think I saw it mentioned as far south as Cornwall a few days back, maybe one day.
