Somedays you just can’t touch anything. A few years back that would have shut everything down, locked down in the house or in the garden.
But now we have figured out a bit more stuff, actually you can do so much with a bit of preparation and patience.
200 miles of driving.
Park up in the UK’s third most populous city.
Walk to a big Cricket Ground.
Strike lucky and find quite a bit of space close to the side of the stage. Amazing as it’s a 50000 sell out.
See a double rainbow.

See Green Day, one of Hawklad’s favourite bands.

A bit of planning and you’ve done it! Bravo 👏🏼

I like Green Day with what I have heard of his music. I used to have an album before I decluttered. But I still love the music. I think I will look up later on YouTube to listen to.

Wow, that is quite a crowd and double rainbow bonus! 🌈 I’ve seen GD a few times, to much smaller crowds. Bravo you two, making memories. 🎶

They don’t often play here sadly and they sell out so quickly

For me, Billie Joe’s violent reaction to a fan, back in 1997 just totally ruined it for me. He jumped feet first, straight into someone in the audience to fight with them. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Wow that was extreme. Must admit Green Day stopped one song mid way through because a girl had collapsed in the front and they made sure the medics got to her and her out before they started again.
