Proper Easter weather…..

Nothing like a Yorkshire Spring. As the say round here. This kind of weather puts hairs on your back….

It definitely puts several jumpers over your back.

But here’s the thing. It might seem cold in Yorkshire but is it really. In Nunavut it is -34 today. That’s proper cold.

Perspective is required.

It’s the same with my life. Sometimes it might seem tough. Not much support. Single parenting is hard. Tired. Isolated. Few too many lows. Loss.

But in reality it’s a GOOD life. I don’t need much support. I get some sleep. Single parenting means more quality time my son. I have wonderful friends. There have been many HIGHS. Still much to gain.

Perspective is always required.

  5. Our meadows were covered with snow yesterday morning and even thicker this morning. And it is really cold! Not -34 but we had minus degrees both mornings, barely in the plus. UGLY!!!

      1. I have no idea. I know there is one in Malbun. The name of my village is Bendern. But however, the country is so small and if there is one, you might cover the whole country 😅

  8. Perspective IS always required. But it’s also okay to not be okay. It’s okay to be tired, worn and in need. It took me a long time to be okay with not being okay. Actually, I’m still not entirely okay with not feeling okay, but I don’t know where I’m going with this… 🤣😂🤣

    I’m tired…. but the best is yet to come. You’re right about perspective. Just because today I might be feeling iffy, doesn’t make the road ahead iffy. It doesn’t even mean that life isn’t good.

    Did I ramble enough? Tomorrow is my tea post. I need more tea breaks. Gotta think about that one.

  15. I agree with Tina, sometimes things just suck and it’s okay to feel yucky about sucky things. We ARE only human after all… even if you’re a Superdad, you’re still human😉
    Changing perspective absolutely can make things better. If we concentrate on looking for the good things, that’s what we’ll find.
