Won’t be long before the trees are leafless.

Could be a long winter.

For the fourth day running, UK had the most new Covid Cases in the world. Our cases running at least 10x higher than our European neighbours. Averaging about a 1000 Covid deaths a week. Hospitals under huge pressure. 1 in 12 secondary school pupils testing positive.

Apparently our Plan A is still working. No need for mandatory masks . No need for additional measures. No need to speed up the vaccination programme. We are learning to live with Covid.

Are we really learning to live with Covid or is the Government just trying to ignore the inconvenience it causes them.

  1. Its the same old:
    1. Go on holiday
    2. Say its not bad
    3. Continue to stick head in sand
    4. Go shit, it might be a bit bad
    5. Blame everything else
    6. Leak Plans on Twitter
    7. Finally shut the stable door, 15 weeks after the horse has bolted and gone onto have a family in rural France

    1. “The Great, Powerful” has spoken, so “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”

For while the virus comes for you, for your family, for your friends and the people that serve you at the shop, the driver on the bus, the postie, the plumber that fixed the leak at the house of some virus spreader who didn’t wear a mask, 👻 💀 ☠️ the Great clowns 🤡 and Powerful 🃏 players will go on holiday. For that way they get rid of the most vulnerable of the population that don’t make enough profit for the greedy wizz~sharts 💩 of spin, 👺 the megalomaniacs who might even believe their own lies.
Meanwhile, intelligent people attempt to live surrounded 😧 😮 by those that take in the lies and sleep walk 🥱 😴 and those that might never get the chance to develop enough to see through the lies.

  2. I’d imagine The Stray will start to look amazingly beautiful, with all those leaves changing and the mighty trees “leaving” their clothes strewn all over the shop.

  3. yeah, no idea whats going on over here in US- booster shot available and i see some getting it but not being promoted by my nursing agency. This, after over a year of pounding us to get the vaccine almost daily( which i did of course). Wondering where the sense of urgency is now…

  4. It seems as if they have decided to treat it as nothing worse than the ‘flu. I got the 3rd booster yesterday as it is freely available, so why not? I still don;t want to catch the damn bug as it obviously can be extremely nasty at the least.

  5. I read about that 🙄 Is masking and social distancing just not a thing anymore? If BoJo keeps it up, Brexit won’t matter… UK will be Plague Island🤦🏼‍♀️
I haven’t always liked the lockdowns, and especially the school closures, but California has taken this Kootie seriously. If people choose not to get vaccinated, they are choosing NOT to eat indoors, see movies, go to school, etc… our rates are still going down.

Now, if you could send us some of your rain, we’d be all set😉

  6. I just had Covid. I slept a lot and coughed a bit. Pretty good for a man with a lot of risk factors.

The trouble is that the symptoms we are warned about (such as loss of taste and smell) don’t apply to the Delta Variant and the lateral flow tests didn’t pick anything up.

The “system” is, to say the least, flawed, at the most basic level. I spread it to three people, and one of them spread it to two more. If the advice had been better and the tests had worked, I would not have done that.

  7. There’s a time for everything and I think now’s the time to watch out for ourselves. If we take care of ourselves, we can take care of many others. It won’t be foolproof; there’d be slip-ups. But on the whole, it’s we who can make a difference, not our governments.
