I’ve finished putting up the Christmas Trees. A small one just in front of our front door.
And another tree in our small entrance hall.
Hopefully not too pretentious this year…..
In my dreams.
Maybe in reality we went to see how Castle Howard does Christmas…..
A Dad trying to cope with the loss of his Partner and becoming a single parent.

I have only been to Castle Howard once and it was at the time when they had their Christmas decorations up. It was lovely.

It did bring up one problem. Too many people using phone or tablet cameras. So many options and effects, plus video that it takes so much longer for many to take a photo

I was about to say I’m very impressed you got that tall tree up without it toppling down on top of you! 😂 All kidding aside, these photos are beautiful. Christmas can feel magical in this year. I was considering buying a half price “Christmas” tree from B&M yesterday, just to plant somewhere safe in the local countryside and see how long I can watch it grow every now and then.
