It’s been a summer of going back a few decades for this old muppet. To a time before mobile phones, when the internet was the stuff that happened only on Star Trek and it was cool to paint band names on the back of rucksacks and denim jackets.

Bon Jovi….

All who were scrawled badly on the back of my old jacket and this summer, all who I got to see play live again.

I wonder what my much younger and way more hairier self would have thought if someone told me back then, in 1990…. “You will still be seeing these play in 2026 but sadly that denim jacket (size medium) is about 2 sizes too small for future self “ 😂😂😂😂

  1. Just today, I was thinking of bringing back part of my 1980s identity (a plaid hat w/pins).

    I’ve also gone to a lot of shows that I missed when I was a teen or 20-something. Some were great flashbacks, some were good but didn’t have the old vibe, and some sucked.

    I’m glad you’re getting out & about again!!
