Some pets will stand a respectful distance away while you exercise. The yoga instructor I follow has a dog that sits perfectly still and just behaves. No interference.
Then there are other pets.
Pets that like to get involved.

A Dad trying to cope with the loss of his Partner and becoming a single parent. 
Brilliant! The cats and I have had similar yoga sessions; they like to give me a ‘tail-moustache’ while I’m prone.

He’s gorgeous Gary. Maggie used to assist me with my exercises as when I stretched out on the bed, so would she and ‘cycle’ her front legs as I was swinging my arms up and over my head.

If I’m stretching or doing any form of exercise on my yoga mat my dog will either want to lick my face or jump up at me for funsies.

Maybe he is simply jealous and doesn’t want you to pay attention to something he doesn’t understand. You rather rub his belly! But to tell from the pictures: Yoga in your garden appears wonderful.
