One or two patches of Daffodils are making it through to Easter. That’s kinda nice.

So the Easter School Break begins. With a hunt. But not an Easter Egg Hunt.

Dad The Pup is outside”

That’s fine Son because I’ve been at meetings all today the poor boy will be busting.

That’s good. Did you know he has taken something with him”

It’s ok for Mr Crocodile to go outside.

No it wasn’t Mr Crocodile”

Tell me it’s not your socks.

No not my socks”

The little bugger has got my pants hasn’t he.

No not today”

What has he got then.

I think it’s your wallet”

So after a mad 5 minute chase a slightly chewed wallet has been retrieved. Soon will begin a fingertip search of the lawn for the coins and cards with have been scattered around the garden. I’m knackered already and the break is only 2 hours old….

      1. Having things that belong to those he loves (and carries their scent) hidden away is a source of comfort to him in the times you are not in his presence!! 🙂

Sometimes a comfort crocodile just can’t relieve that feeling of missing someone special!

      1. Freezing temperatures at night and a few degrees above during the day at this time of year is great for making maple syrup. An inch of snow a couple days ago reminds us it’s not quite spring.

      1. I haven’t – I have given up. I have taken the kids to the shore for Spring break and have just cut my losses with the photo. I feel I have turned the house upside down and that photo book hasn’t fallen. I’m baffled!

      2. Yes, but not as often as I would like. It was so busy last week getting ready for this week and then Easter that I only got there once. And now we are away so I won’t get there until next week again. Have you had any good workouts lately?

  1. YE GODS, MAN! You can’t just have a day, can you? You have to go aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall out thanks to Captain Chaos. Seriously, you and your son should start making a comic book series about him. 🙂
